What the analytics are for
Google Analytics tells us which pages get visited and how people move between them. Microsoft Clarity shows us how a page is used: where people tap, how far they scroll, where they get stuck. Both use a random id rather than anything that names you. The camera areas of the app are masked from Clarity and are never recorded; nothing from the camera leaves your phone in any case.
Neither is used for advertising. We have switched off Google’s advertising features and ad personalisation for this site.
Not cookies, but on your device
The browser’s own storage remembers a few settings: the sound mode, whether you have seen the tour, and similar. That stays on your device and is never sent anywhere.
